I acknowledge Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. I pay my respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.

Tutoring Indigenous students

Dr Heath Kirby has tutored Indigenous students since 2020, in-person and online, male and female.

Tutoring Indigenous students from all backgrounds

– University students (part and full-time)

– employed in high-level positions

– student located in remote areas of Australia, including the Torres Strait.

No matter how or where the tutoring takes place, Heath strives to display compassion, understanding and patience.

Much is learnt by both parties. Reflection after each session has helped Heath develop a greater understanding of the importance of connection to country, place and the essential role of Indigenous Australians in Australia.

Heath has conducted hundreds of hours of tutoring to Indigenous students.

Dr. Heath Kirby currently works closely with William Cooper Institute at Monash University.
